Undertale Multiverse Simulator How to Grind Souls in 1.5

Pace, the 200k zone, AFK notes, and the purchases that stall a fresh soul count.

How to Grind Souls

Souls are the entire progression system in Undertale Multiverse Simulator 1.5. There is no separate story XP bar. You farm souls, you buy an AU kit, that kit farms faster or wins more PvP, you farm more souls. If you spend the stack on a name you cannot drive, the loop breaks.

This page is the farm plan after the first-hour 1.5 join order. It assumes you already joined the live 1.5 place (not the hacked original), you know R lowers HP, and you have at least one starter kit from the white portal.

Community pace (SANES 2, August 2026)

Creator SANES 2 posted grind math in August 2026 while farming for a showcase:

  • About 24 hours of play to the first million souls (maybe a bit more).
  • After you can live in the 200k zone, about 20 hours per extra million.

Treat those numbers as a planning ceiling, not a contract. Your rate depends on kit, server population, and whether you are actually fighting or standing in the lobby. 15-player servers punish empty servers (nobody to hit) and stacked servers (you never get a turn). Hop until the lobby is messy but not hopeless.

The game is free-to-play Roblox PvP. There is no official “x souls per minute” tooltip. If a video promises millions in an hour, it is selling a thumbnail.

The 200,000 soul breakpoint

The stronger character zone is the real mid-game. It is a left room and a right room, and the floor kits start around 200,000 souls (Photonegative Sans is the usual first name people cite). Until you can buy and use a kit from that zone, every soul you spend on a vanity starter pad is a soul that is not buying entry.

A clean breakpoint plan:

  1. Stay in the Starter Characters Room (white portal, left of lobby) until your farm kit is comfortable.
  2. Bank toward 200,000 instead of buying every remaining starter pad.
  3. Enter the stronger zone, buy one floor kit you can actually combo, and make that your farm kit.
  4. Only then look at extra phases (Epic 250k/400k, Toxin 300k/500k/850k, Dusttrust 580k/850k/1M) or evolution rooms.

Price-check every pad in the soul unlock tool so you do not confuse a phase row with a new character.

AFK notes

Players talk about AFK as a way to keep the 24-hour clock moving without full attention. SANES 2 comment threads treat “just AFK” as a real community method. That does not mean the developer owes you an AFK farm, and it does not mean a script is required.

Practical AFK rules that do not involve exploits:

  • Stay in a server that will not instantly kick you, and do not assume public servers will let you idle forever.
  • AFK is slower than playing. Use it to cover sleep or school, not to replace the kit that actually farms.
  • Do not paste loadstrings from random Discords. Scripts, how to use scripts, and auto-farm notes are high-risk pages. This guide will not give you a farm script.

If Roblox or the place owner changes idle rules, AFK dies overnight. Keep a kit you can play awake.

What not to buy

The fastest way to extend the 24-hour first million is to buy the wrong pad.

Do not buy:

  • A stronger-zone name you cannot afford to use after the purchase. Walking in at 80k to stare at Ink is fine. Clicking a 1.6M pad is not.
  • Extra phases on a kit you already outgrew. A phase is only another soul price in the same room. If the base kit is not your farm kit, the phase is a trophy.
  • Event use-cost before the badge. Pesti Sans needs the defeat badge and 2,000,000 souls to use. Paying the 2M first does not skip the fight.
  • Evolution doors you clicked because the label looked cool. Killer evo and Alpha rooms have been reported as swapping. Confirm the room before you dump the stack — see evolution rooms and ACT 3.
  • Chat “codes.” We have not verified a public list on codes. A fake code does not grant souls.

Do buy:

Where the souls come from

1.5 is online battlegrounds on 15-player servers. Souls come from playing that loop, not from a hidden single-player map. Pick a kit whose attacks reach, keep shiftlock on if you play gamepad (X), and use R only when orange/blue bone rules need a lower HP band — that bind is explained on the PC, mobile, and gamepad bind sheet. Dying on full HP to a blue bone because you refused to press R is a farm tax.

If the lobby is all event kits, you are not farming, you are feeding. Hop. If you cannot find a fair server, grind in quieter hours rather than donating your HP bar to a 2M Pesti main.

After the first million

The first million is a checkpoint, not a finish line. Community math says each extra million in the 200k zone is still about 20 hours. Spend that million on a kit that shortens the next 20 hours, not on a 2,850,000 ACT 3 door you will click once for a clip. Revenge Papyrus ACT 3, Fatal Error, Hyper Dust, and Scarlet Tenacity are late shopping — they belong on the evolutions roster after your farm kit is stable.

Patch notes that change rooms or rates go on the updates hub and 1.5 remaster notes. Recheck prices after a title update; old YouTube descriptions from the original place can be stale.

A simple budget for the next session: write the next pad, the soul gap, and the hours SANES 2 math implies. Then play until the gap is gone. That is the grind. Everything else is a shop window.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How long does it take to get 1,000,000 souls in 1.5?

Community math from SANES 2 (August 2026) is about 24 hours to the first million, then about 20 hours per extra million after the 200k zone. Your kit and server will move that number.

When should I enter the stronger character zone?

When you can buy a kit there — the floor is around 200,000 souls, left and right rooms. See the stronger character zone and soul unlock tool.

Is AFK farming required?

No. Players mention AFK to cover idle time. It is slower than playing and is not an official feature. Skip scripts; read auto-farm notes only as a risk warning.

What should I not spend early souls on?

Skip extra phases, evolution doors, and the 2,000,000 Pesti use-cost until your farm kit is set. Phases are extra prices — how phases actually cost souls — not a hidden key.

Do souls transfer from the original game?

No. The original place was hacked. 1.5 starts you at zero. See the hacked original file page.
