Undertale Multiverse Simulator Getting Started in 1.5

Join the live remaster, open the white portal, buy a cheap kit, and leave the lobby with a plan.

Getting Started

Undertale Multiverse Simulator 1.5 is a free Roblox Action / Battlegrounds game on 15-player servers. You spawn in a lobby, grind souls, and spend them on AU Sans and Papyrus kits. Combat is online PvP, not split-screen and not a single-player campaign. The file launched on 22 May 2026, was still receiving updates in September 2026, and sits around 2.1 million visits. Community age notes put it at 16+. Avatars run R6.

This page is the day-one route. It assumes you have zero souls and have not touched the original place.

Join the 1.5 place, not the hacked original

Search Roblox for Undertale Multiverse Simulator 1.5, not the old title. The live place ID is 112050560592995 (universe 10202515720). Creator credit is SlayerRealNotFake. The original place 7915723993 was hacked; 1.5 is the continuation, and souls do not transfer. If a friend sends a link, read the place name and creator before you click Play. Hours spent on the dead file do not count here.

Patch context lives on the 1.5 remaster notes and the hacked original file page. This wiki is unofficial and is not affiliated with Toby Fox or Roblox.

Controls you need before you buy anything

The Roblox page prints three binds because they are not default Roblox:

  • R (PC) lowers your own HP. That is intentional. Orange and blue bone rules care whether you are moving and whether you are in the HP band the attack expects. The full explanation is on the PC, mobile, and gamepad bind sheet.
  • Z (PC) opens the emote wheel. It is social, not a phase button.
  • X on a gamepad toggles shiftlock so blasters track.
  • Mobile uses on-screen buttons, including a low-HP control that matches R.

If you skip this and mash R in a fight, you will think the game is bugged. It is not. Print the controls cheatsheet if you play on more than one device.

Find the Starter Characters Room

From the lobby, look left for a white portal. That portal is the Starter Characters Room. Inside, pads list AU kits with a soul price. Walk onto a pad you can afford. Pacifist Sans is the free floor kit. Cheap early pads in the 0–4,000 soul band (Underswap, Science, Swapfell, Underfell, Outer, Underswap Papyrus, Swapswap, classic Sans, and similar) are the kits you should actually click on day one.

Do not wander into the stronger rooms yet. The stronger character zone is a pair of left and right rooms that start around 200,000 souls. Walking in to window-shop is fine; buying there with a four-digit stack is how people stall for a week.

Names and early picks are listed on the starter roster and ranked on the starter tier list.

First unlocks: spend small, fight, repeat

Day one is not a completionist tour of the starter room. Buy one kit you can afford, leave the room, and fight on the 15-player server until the next pad is in reach. Souls come from that loop — hits, time in combat, and whatever farm route the current patch allows — not from a separate single-player grind map.

A practical first hour:

  1. Confirm you are on 1.5.
  2. Bind-check R, Z, and (on gamepad) X.
  3. Enter the white portal.
  4. Take Pacifist Sans or the cheapest kit that feels usable.
  5. Return to the arena and learn one moveset instead of rotating six kits.
  6. Bank souls toward the next cheap pad, not toward a million-soul name you saw in a thumbnail.

We have not verified a public promo-code list. If chat dumps a string, ignore it until codes and how to redeem show a real entry. Do not paste “free souls” scripts; auto-farm notes exist as a warning lane, not a starter step.

Where to go after the cheap kits

Once you can hold a fight without instantly folding, switch from “buy the next cheap pad” to “buy the next pad that raises farm speed.” That is the job of the soul grind pace and 200k breakpoint guide. Community timing from SANES 2 in August 2026: about 24 hours of play to the first million, then about 20 hours per extra million after you live in the 200k zone. AFK is mentioned in that community; it is not a promised official feature.

Check prices in the soul unlock tool before you commit. Skip extra phases until the base kit is already your farm kit — a phase is just another soul price in the same room, not a hidden transformation key. Skip evolution rooms until you can afford the dedicated door (Killer evo, Alpha, Scarlet Tenacity, Hyper Dust, Fatal Error, Revenge Papyrus ACT 3 at 2,850,000). Skip Pesti Sans until you can survive the event and then pay 2,000,000 souls to use him after the badge.

PvP on 15-player servers

Servers hold 15 players. You will get dumped on by stronger-zone kits. That is expected. Learn dodge, teleport spacing, and when to press R; do not rage-buy a 200k pad you cannot fill. If a lobby is empty, hop. If a lobby is stacked with event kits, hop. The grind is slower in a server where you never get a hit in.

When you want a shopping list instead of a walkthrough, use the guides hub, the players hub, and the tier list hub. Discord pointers sit on wiki Discord.

Finish day one with one kit you understand, a soul count you can recap, and a next pad written down. That beats owning eight movesets you mash in the wrong order.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which Roblox place should I join?

Join Undertale Multiverse Simulator 1.5 (place 112050560592995, creator SlayerRealNotFake). The original place was hacked; souls from that file do not transfer. Details: 1.5 remaster notes.

Where is the Starter Characters Room?

Take the white portal on the left side of the lobby. Kit names are on the starter roster. The stronger rooms start around 200,000 souls.

What does the R key do?

On PC, R lowers your HP so orange and blue bone rules can work. It is not how you phase. See the PC, mobile, and gamepad bind sheet and how phases actually cost souls.

Are there working promo codes for new players?

We have not verified a public list. Recheck codes after patches. Do not trust random chat codes or script loadstrings.

What should I do after my first cheap kit?

Follow the soul grind pace and 200k breakpoint until you can enter the stronger character zone. Then decide between phases, evolutions, or the Pesti event.
