Undertale Multiverse Simulator UMS 1.5 Controls Cheatsheet

PC, mobile, and gamepad tables — R, Z, and gamepad X are the locked-in keys.

Controls Cheatsheet

This is the short Undertale Multiverse Simulator 1.5 input sheet. Print the three tables, then go fight. The long prose version — camera feel, HUD clutter, why you should test R in the lobby — lives in the full controls guide. New accounts should still run getting started first so you are on the 1.5 place and not the hacked original.

Confirmed from the live Roblox description: PC R lowers your own HP, PC Z opens the emote wheel, gamepad X is shiftlock. Those three are 1.5-specific. Movement, jump, and attacks follow normal Roblox client layout unless a kit draws extra on-screen buttons.

R is not a phase key. Phases are extra soul prices on the soul unlock checklist. Tapping R in a 15-player server is how you gift a kill.

PC table

InputWhat it does in 1.5Notes
W A S DMoveStandard Roblox. Hold to run the kit’s walk speed.
MouseCamera / aimMost blasters and bones follow the cursor.
Left clickPrimary fire / meleeKit-dependent.
1–9 or on-screen skill buttonsAbilitiesLayout changes per AU. Learn one kit at a time from the starter roster.
SpaceJumpNeeded for some bone patterns.
Left ShiftSprint / shiftlock (client default)If shiftlock feels wrong on a pad, read the full controls guide.
RLower your own HPConfirmed 1.5 description. Test in lobby, never as a panic button.
ZEmote wheelConfirmed 1.5 description. Not a shop, not a phase menu.
/ or chatChatDo not type codes here. Redeem, if it ever exists, is a menu field — how to redeem.
EscRoblox menuLeave, shiftlock options, volume.

PC checklist: spawn, tap Z once so you know where emotes sit, tap R once on Sans at 0 souls so you see the HP drop, then stop touching R. Bind muscle memory to WASD and click before you enter the stronger zone.

Mobile table

ControlWhat it doesNotes
Left thumbstickMoveStandard Roblox touch HUD.
Right dragCameraPinch-zoom is client camera, not a 1.5 skill.
Jump buttonJumpThumb can cover ability buttons — move the HUD in Roblox settings if you mis-tap.
Attack / ability clusterKit skillsEach AU draws a different cluster.
Menu / shop iconIn-game menusThis is also where a Codes field would live if 1.5 ever adds one. See the codes hub.
Emote controlEmote wheel (Z on PC)Look for a face or emote icon. Do not confuse it with R.
Self-HP controlLower your own HP (R on PC)If you find a matching button, treat it like R: lobby only.

Mobile checklist: stand still in the lobby and tap every unlabeled HUD icon once. You want to know which cluster is emote, which is shop, and which is the self-HP trap before a Pesti attempt. If the keyboard covers Redeem later, dismiss it first — that problem is documented on how to redeem, not here.

Touch grind is slower for some kits. That is a reason to pick a simple starter, not a reason to inject auto-farm. The scripts hub will not make the HUD smaller.

Gamepad table

Input (Xbox layout)What it doesNotes
Left stickMove
Right stickCamera
AJumpStandard Roblox gamepad map.
RT / R2Primary fireKit-dependent.
Face buttons / bumpersAbilitiesConfirm in-game; AU kits remap.
XShiftlockConfirmed 1.5 description. This is the one gamepad line the live file bothered to print.
Menu / ViewRoblox or in-game menuHunt Codes tabs here after patches.
D-padExtra HUD / emotes on some clientsIf emote is not on D-pad, open the on-screen wheel.

Gamepad checklist: enable shiftlock with X in the lobby, then strafe around a pad in the starter room until camera and movement agree. If X does nothing, the client may be in a menu, or the device is still mapped as a keyboard. Fix that before you pay 200k for Photonegative and learn in the stronger zone that your camera is free-look during a gaster volley.

There is no confirmed gamepad equivalent printed for R and Z on the Roblox page. If your overlay shows extra face-button prompts, test them on a throwaway kit. Do not test self-HP during event fights on the event roster.

Shared rules that are not keybinds

  • 15-player servers. Other people have the same HUD. Locking camera into the floor is how you eat a blaster you never saw.
  • Kits change the cluster. Storyshift is not Ink. Learn one moveset, then spend on the unlock checklist.
  • No secret evolve key. If a YouTube comment says “press R to phase,” they mixed this file up with a soul price. Phases are listed as slash costs (Toxin 300k/500k/850k, MTT 750k/1.4M/2,066,666).
  • Emotes are social. Z will not grind souls. The grind route will.
  • Patches can add binds. Recheck updates and version 1.5 after a client change. This sheet only locks R, Z, and gamepad X as confirmed.

When the tables disagree with your HUD, trust the HUD and then come back. The full controls guide is the place for screenshots-in-prose, shiftlock troubleshooting, and “why did my camera invert.” This cheatsheet is the card you keep next to the tools hub and the soul unlock numbers.

Practice the three confirmed keys before PvP: R once so you respect it, Z once so you can close the wheel, gamepad X until shiftlock sticks. Then go play the battleground. Everything else is kit buttons you learn by dying on purpose in an empty lobby, not by installing an executor that claims to press them for you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What does R do in UMS 1.5?

On PC, R lowers your own HP. It is not a phase or evolve key. Test it in the lobby, then stop. Longer notes are in the controls guide.

What does Z do?

Z opens the emote wheel on PC. It is not a shop and not a redeem box. Codes, if they ever exist, are covered on how to redeem.

How do I shiftlock on a controller?

The live description says gamepad shiftlock is **X**. Toggle it in the lobby before you enter the stronger zone.

Where is the full controls write-up?

The long guide is controls. This page is the cheatsheet. New players should also open getting started.

Do mobile players have R and Z?

Not as keyboard keys. Look for on-screen emote and self-HP controls, and map them before a Pesti attempt so you do not tap the wrong cluster.
