Character Evolutions

Evolutions in Undertale Multiverse Simulator 1.5 are extra soul prices on a kit you already own. They are not a hidden key, a secret code, or a second white portal. You buy Phase 2 the same way you bought Phase 1: walk to the pad, pay the listed souls, and the kit changes. If a thumbnail says evo, it still means souls. Read how to phase and how to evolve for the click order; this page lists which lines actually branch in 1.5.

The original place was hacked. Souls do not transfer. 1.5 reworked attacks, so an old Last Breath Phase 3 clip is not a move list. Costs below that sit in the stronger rooms prefer PPHS72 1.5 showcases. Scarlet Tenacity is the honest hole in the sheet: August 2026, Phases 1–3 shown, public soul cost unknown.

Phase versus evolution versus ACT

Players mix three words:

  • Phase — a numbered extra price on the same stand (Epic P1/P2, Toxin P1–P3, Dusttrust P1–P3, Murder Time Trio P1–P3, Mirrored Insanity P1/P2, Ainavol P1/P2). You already own the base kit.
  • Evolution — a named upgrade that may use a different pad (Hyper Dust Sans from Ruins Dust, Fatal Error Sans, Swapfell Papyrus Phase 2, Scarlet Tenacity). Some pads sit near starter characters even though the result plays like a late kit.
  • ACT — Revenge T.U.E Papyrus language. ACT 2 is 535,000 in the left stronger room. ACT 3 is 2,850,000, a separate late buy, not a keybind during the ACT 2 fight.

If the stand is in the stronger zone, the price is on stronger-zone characters. If the stand is an event badge, it is on event characters. If the stand appeared in an August 2026 leftover-starter showcase, it is on this page.

Scarlet Tenacity Phases 1–3 (cost unknown)

August 2026 showcases (SANES 2 and similar) clip Scarlet Tenacity as a new three-phase line. No public soul figure from the PPHS72 1.5 cost sheets we trust. This wiki will not invent 1,000,000 or 2,000,000 to fill the table. Plan for a late-game dump, confirm the in-game stand, and log the number in the soul unlock tool only after you see it yourself.

Until a cost is public, treat Scarlet as optional. It is not a substitute for Photonegative, Toxin, or Dusttrust when you are still climbing the soul grinding route.

Swapfell Papyrus Phase 2

Swapfell Papyrus Phase 2 is a new 1.5 evolution on the Swapfell line. Base Swapfell still lives with the cheap Papyrus kits near the white portal; Phase 2 is the extra pad. Community showcases flag it as NEW in August 2026. We do not have a verified 1.5 soul number on this page. Buy the base kit from starter characters only if you actually want the line — do not pre-buy it as a shortcut into the stronger zone.

Hyper Dust Sans (Ruins Dust evolution)

Hyper Dust Sans is the Ruins Dust evolution, not Hyper Revert Dust and not HyperDust Ink.

  • Ruins Dust: 11,000 community-reported, white portal.
  • Hyper Dust Sans: evo pad off that line. Showcased with the August leftover starters.
  • Hyper Revert Dust: 1,377,777 in the left stronger room.
  • HyperDust Ink: 2,650,000 in the right stronger room.

Those four names get mashed together in comments. If you came here from a Hyper Dust thumbnail, check which pad you are standing on before you spend a million souls on the wrong cousin.

Fatal Error Sans

Fatal Error Sans is an evolution, not the left-room Error kit (1,850,000). Original-game community pages listed a huge Fatal Error price; 1.5 reworked the kit and the pad. This wiki does not reprint the old 2,111,111 figure as a 1.5 fact. Confirm the stand. Fatal Error is a late evo with murder-spam comments in showcases — high PvP pressure if you can afford it, useless as a first farm kit. Compare it with Error, Ink, and ACT 3 on the stronger-zone tier list after you see the live price.

Ink line, Dusttrust phases, ACT 2–3

These branches live in the stronger zone and are the ones with verified 1.5 numbers:

  • Dusttrust Phase 1 / 2 / 3: 580,000 / 850,000 / 1,000,000. Phase 3 is the efficiency pick of the million-soul band.
  • Ink → Emotionless Ink → Shanghaivania Ink: 1,650,000 / 1,950,000 / 2,250,000 (left room).
  • Dust Ink → HyperDust Ink: 2,150,000 / 2,650,000 (right room).
  • Revenge T.U.E Papyrus ACT 2: 535,000. ACT 3: 2,850,000.

Toxin (300,000 / 500,000 / 850,000) and Epic (250,000 / 400,000) are the mid-game version of the same idea: pay twice (or three times) on one line instead of spreading souls across flavor AUs. Full tables are on stronger-zone characters.

Room bugs

1.5 still has leftover pads from the original layout. Community reports include clicking a Killer evolution and loading an Alpha Sans evolution room that should not be a 1.5 shop. Other clips mention stands that face the wrong hall after a teleport.

What to do:

  • Leave the room and walk in again from the lobby. Do not keep clicking in the wrong shop.
  • Do not treat a mis-teleport as a secret unlock. This wiki does not publish exploits.
  • Keep one cheap starter equipped so you can fight your way out if the pad strands you.
  • If a stand shows a NULL price around 10,666,666, that listing is original-game wiki material. We do not claim that zone exists in 1.5.

R still lowers HP. Z still opens the emote wheel. If a pad also fails because you opened the emote wheel, that is a client mishit, not a new mechanic — see controls.

A sane upgrade order

  1. Own a farm kit from starter characters. Pacifist is enough; Ruins Dust is the Hyper Dust prerequisite.
  2. Buy Photonegative, then Epic or Toxin phases, using the grind route.
  3. Pick one expensive line: Dusttrust P3, Ink, or ACT 2 toward ACT 3. Do not start three lines at once.
  4. Add event kits from event characters only after the badge exists on your account.
  5. Touch Scarlet Tenacity, Swapfell P2, Hyper Dust, and Fatal Error when the stand is visible and you can read the number. Until then they are showcase names, not a shopping list.

Promo codes are unrelated to evolution pads. If one appears, redeem it from codes. Patch order for new evos lives on version 1.5. Rank whether an evo is worth the extra price on the tier list hub rather than clicking every pad because the model changed color.

Phases cost souls. ACT 3 costs souls. Scarlet Tenacity costs something the showcases did not print. Click the pad that matches the kit you already use, ignore leftover Alpha rooms, and keep Hyper Dust, Hyper Revert Dust, and HyperDust Ink as three different purchases. That is the whole 1.5 evolution rule.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is phasing a secret keybind?

No. Phases are extra soul prices. Step-by-step clicking is on how to phase and how to evolve.

How much is Scarlet Tenacity?

Unknown in public 1.5 showcases (August 2026). Do not use a guessed number in the soul unlock tool until the stand prints one.

Is Hyper Dust the same as HyperDust Ink?

No. Hyper Dust Sans evolves from Ruins Dust. HyperDust Ink is a 2,650,000 right-room kit. Hyper Revert Dust is 1,377,777 on the left. See stronger-zone characters.

What should I do if a pad sends me to the wrong room?

Leave and re-enter. Leftover Alpha-style rooms are layout bugs, not secret kits. If you are still learning the lobby, start from getting started.

Does ACT 3 need a badge like Pesti?

ACT 3 is a 2,850,000 stronger-zone purchase. Pesti is the badge kit — see event characters and the Pesti Sans guide.
